Licensed Low Voltage Technicians

$40 Hourly pay – Full time – Day shift

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Installation/replacement of residential Honeywell Vista-20P alarm panels (takeover of preexisting wiring, no hard-wire sensor or keypad installs), commercial/ residential POE camera Installation, Cat5E data outlets, Thermostat installation, and more.
  • Providing new installs, upgrade/downgrade of services, troubleshooting, programming, and configuring all types of broadband and telecommunication equipment.
  • Working with all types of cable including Cat5/Cat6, small components to establish cable connections, signal paths and flows, use of hand tools, and testing equipment.
  • Maintaining all tools, vehicles, and equipment according to Company policies.
  • Showcasing superior customer service.

What to expect:

  • Working outdoors in all types of weather and environments including residential homes and businesses.
  • Physically demanding work that includes a great deal of: Walking, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and lifting while wearing a tool belt.
  • Traveling, sitting, or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Loading, unloading, carrying, and using multiple types of ladders, some weighing up to 75 lbs. and 28’ high (with a maximum weight capacity of 250#) on a regular basis.
  • Working in small, tight confined spaces where movement can be restricted such as in crawl spaces, attics, or under mobile homes.
  • Potential to drive 25% or more of the day.

Qualifications:

  • MUST be Licensed in the state of Washington as an Electrician. Licensing will be verified during prescreening; unlicensed applicants will not be considered for hire.
  • Training and Apprentice cards/licensing do not qualify.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening and background check without any criminal charges, DUI’s, or illicit substances.
  • Able to work full time with an open flexible schedule and willing to work weekends, overtime, and holidays when necessary to meet customer needs/ system demands.
  • Comfortably and safely work at height (28’+) and in confined or restrictive areas.
  • Possess leadership qualities to effectively manage your own schedule, travel times, and meet system time frames.
  • Assume full responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools.
