Low-Voltage Installer
Summary:
A regional technology company providing engineering and installations for various facilities within the Midwest is looking for a Low-Voltage Installer to join the team! This individual will be an integral part of the installation as well as monitoring of low-voltage cables and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide both remote and onsite support of low-voltage electrical and life safety technology components
- Installation and repair of electrical equipment and fixtures
- Perform testing and trainings on installed equipment
- Development and evaluate alternative solutions that meet a task’s requirements
- Interaction and working with customers across various levels of employment within a facility
- Provide professional communications, leadership skills, and support
Requirements:
- 2+ experience with security and/or low-voltage industries
- Previous experience in electrical engineering
- Previous technical experience with wiring or data installation services
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft tools
- Familiarity working with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time, able to work on a ladder, lift, push, pull 50 lbs. or more; ability to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for extended periods
