Low Voltage Project Manager

The Project Manager will strengthen Garber as a frontrunner in the telecommunication and security industry by supporting our field technicians and accommodating our customers’ requests to maintain productive and profitable jobsites.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Field Technicians

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create an efficient work environment for our service technicians through communication and recommended trainings.
  • Strengthen Garber teamwork with excellent communication and service between customers, sales personnel, and field technicians.
  • Monitor field technicians to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained.
  • Organize and procure materials and equipment for projects.
  • Provide technicians with assistance in performing duties as necessary.
  • Submit change orders and billings for projects.
  • Establish operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
  • Attend staff meetings and companywide meetings.
  • Other duties the company may require for this position

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper phone and email etiquette.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Must be available by phone 24/7 for project and personnel related questions and management.
  • Must have previous low voltage/Data experience in the field

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of industry experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
