Low Voltage Technician Entry Level
We are currently seeking a motivated individual(s) in low voltage cabling profession. Pull, terminate, label and test coax, cat 5e/6 and fiber per EIA/TIA and BICSI standards. Will build and set up telecommunication racks, install equipment. Will be trained to inventory, stage and set up medical equipment. More IMPORTANT – Communication skills both written and verbal are a must. Must have neat professional appearance. Must have solid customer service skills. All of work is in hospitals. Travel is required Kentucky team based, will cover AL, SC, TN primary and sometimes NC, MS, AR.

  • Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process.
  • Reads and interprets all floorplans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Properly sets up a variety of copper and fiber testers.
  • Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required.
  • Terminates, labels, tests, and troubleshoots optical fiber and copper installations.
  • Excel in technical tasks
  • Proactively oversee and lead jobsite organization and basic housekeeping maintenance..
  • Resolve problems when they arise and report progress to managers.
  • Understands, adheres to, and promotes the Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
  • Possess working knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and the National Electric Code.
  • Adequately train Technicians and Installers to complete all the tasks and responsibilities of their positions.

Assists in developing Technicians to complete all the tasks and responsibilities of a Lead Technician

*****Looking for one person, entry level technician. Must travel together with lead technician. Dependable, hard working a must.

Company vehicle provided, no out of pocket expense.

$17 – $18 per hour probation period. Depending on experience and qualification plus perdiem.
