Job Description:

Bazon-Cox and Associates (BACO) is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Estimator at our Chesapeake, VA location. The right candidate will possess great attention to detail and deliver estimates in an accurate and timely manner. He/She will build relationships with vendor and supplier reps to receive the best proposals for materials and equipment.

Job Duties

• Regularly seek new and upcoming project bidding opportunities
• Attend pre-bid meetings and walkthroughs
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications
• Perform accurate material counts and take-offs
• Consult with Project Managers and estimators to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Low Voltage/Telecom Industry
• Knowledge in low voltage systems such as Telecom, Access Control, CCTV, and IDS
• Experience in estimating
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communicating skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• BICSI Cert or Low Voltage Apprenticeship is a plus
• Field Technician experience is a plus
