Jade Communications, Inc. a leader in the Telecommunications industry is looking for a Purchasing/Warehouse Manager to join our world-class team
· The Purchasing/Warehouse Manager will work with our Estimators, Project Managers and Technicians to purchase materials on a per project basis. The Purchasing/Warehouse Manager will communicate effectively across teams and vendors to ensure efficient flow of materials, and the upkeep of our warehouses.
· This role involves management of the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the company vehicles, equipment repairs, inventory management, shipping, logistics and communication between internal teams and vendors.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Create purchase orders, Pull inventory items, Return warehouse items to manufacturers and 3rd party shops
Accept shipments, freight.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly warehouses inspections.
Responsible for maintaining inventory & reordering cleaning supplies, consumables and expendables.
Maintain upkeep and stock of break room and kitchen area
Responsible for scheduling maintenance, obtaining quotes on service and submitting for approval on equipment & machinery (e.g., forklifts, vehicles, generators, tools etc. )
Keep maintenance logs of equipment and machinery
Run offsite errands or to Job Site as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a team player, highly organized and possess great communication skills.
Computer skills to include data entry of information, research / look up of information, knowledge of excel, word outlook.
Must be punctual and accountable.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
Comfortable using power tools & hand tools
Has respect for people, standards, and internal processes
Must have ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
Must have ability and knowledge to drive a motorized pallet lift and pallet jacks for moving and placing inventory. Forklift operator certification is required.
Must have a valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must be able to exercise strong discretion with confidential information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
