Position Summary
Responsibilities:
- Refine scope of work and detail subcontracts,
- Coordinating subcontractors on site,
- Manage multiple projects in various stage of activities,
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, scope, and schedule,
- Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project,
- Develop project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses,
- Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and trades people,
- Provide specific expertise and critical thinking for problem solving,
- Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals,
- Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents,
- Coordinate completion of construction activities,
- Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the client.
Other Duties:
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years experience in critical infrastructure or construction project management,
- Ability to read and understand scope of work and eng drawings,
- Willingness to travel 50% of time,
- Strong communication skills,
- Winning mentality and team player,
- Preferred: experience with data centers and networking facilities.
Location:
- Candidate must live in, or relatively close to Toronto/Montreal, Canada.
Travel:
- Up to 50% travel,
- May be required to travel to other provinces for a certain period of time,
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
Position Type:
This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
