The Sales Engineer/Estimator’s responsibilities include walking the sites and talking to customers to gather requirements, putting together a scope of work and getting a subcontractor’s quote, coordinating with estimating to get final pricing, and composing and submitting a quote. This individual should identify ways to continually improve cost-estimating procedures to reduce inconsistencies between estimated and actual project costs.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of relevant estimating experience within the telecommunication industry.
- Must be familiar with Data Centers, Technical Infrastructure, & Construction.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Maintains contact and relationships with private individuals and other organizations.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time exempt position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Some evenings are required.
Travel:
- Travel to other markets as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
