Job Title: Major Account Executive (Mid-Market Sales)
Type: Direct Hire/Full-time
Location: Based out of Boston, Massachusetts
Schedule: Some work from home days, some in office, and some in territory
Pay: Base salary will range from $84,000 to $114,000 but will also qualify for commission pay as well!

As an established Account Executive, you know how to connect with executives to sell innovative solutions that will transform their business. You’re excited about technology and knowledgeable about your customers’ specific challenges and business objectives. You understand how to build a custom solution that your customers can’t live without. You excel in dynamic environments and provide excellent customer service. This role will meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives acquiring and growing an assigned module of mid-sized prospects and base customers. Industry-leader will sell products, services and solutions to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating referrals. Industry-leader will analyze customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of company products and services. Tailor customer recommendations to negotiate and close business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue pre-identified new prospects and existing base customers. In addition, independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling and networking.
- Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of company products and services.
- Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions and proposals.
- Negotiate and close deals.
- Develop and execute strategies for penetrating new markets and deepening the relationship between TMO and customers.
- Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools.
- Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
- Stay hungry to learn, develop and grow
- Develop skills in prospecting, call execution and relationship management.
- Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.
- Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Req)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Pref)
Work Experience:
- MUST have 4-7 years outside B2B sales experience in mid-market (500+ employee companies)
- 2-4 years in telecommuntions backgrounds preferable, but any technical would be considered.
- Must currently be in a B2B sales role, not just in a previous role.
- 4-7 years – Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment.
- Prior SMB or Mid-Market sales experience.
- 2-4 years – Experience solutions/applications selling
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Task Management-Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
- Customer Service-Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
- Communication-Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Negotiation-Effective negotiating and closing skills
- Proposal Writing-Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations
The company requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
