Manager, Network investments – Systems

Connecting the world requires alternative approaches to building and deploying telecom network infrastructure. Through direct engagement with partners around the world, the Network Investments Team seeks to foster the development of the infrastructure needed to support the Metaverse. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about building networks that have social impact and a desire to leverage your product development and analytics skill sets to expand into the next phase of network development. As a Network Investments – Manager, Systems you will work closely with our engineering, product and partnership teams and operators to understand opportunities to develop supply chain systems, areas of gaps and bottlenecks, and recommend infrastructure to scale our infrastructure.

Manager, Network investments – Systems Responsibilities:

• Lead the ideation, technical development and launch of innovative systems solutions
• Manage a grow a team of systems solutions managers while expanding existing business workstreams
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
• Drive the strategy for a portfolio of systems solutions to create a deliberate plan and a cohesive strategy
• Engage with operators and infrastructure partners to develop tooling to support network expansion
• Drive technical development of with a global team
• Coordinate and scale cross-functional efforts across the globe
• Ability to travel up to 30% of time. International travel is required

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience working within a network supply chain environment for an operator, equipment vendor deployment or operating telecom networks
• 5+ years experience as a people manager (6+ people)
• Experience hiring and growing team
• Understanding of telecom infrastructure network principles, cost, coverage and capacity requirements
• Understanding of telecom infrastructure back-office frameworks to support network supply chain
• Experience working in product management/development environments
• Effective communication with experience presenting and delivering content to senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing an organization of product managers within a telecommunications BSS/OSS environment
• Software/Product Development experience as developer and/or manager
