Your primary focus:
Reporting to the General Manager of Industry Solutions, the Manager – Product Commercialization is a senior leader whose team plays a central role to plan and execute on how we bring new products and capabilities to market. You have your finger on the pulse of our customers’ problems and can effectively synthesize our complex and evolving technology solution roadmap in a way that clearly shows how we can solve those problems. You are a masterful collaborator, building and executing the commercialization plan between product and marketing. You will ensure we bring solutions to market in a systematic and measurable way that achieves intended outcomes for both our customers and our business. You will seek regular feedback from our Customers and internal teams on how effective our practices are and complete launch retrospectives so we can iterate and continuously improve upon them.
You will achieve success through building and leading your own team along with the expertise and support from working with partners in Product, Marketing, Sales and Operations.
Your accountabilities:
- Working with our Product and Marketing teams to take solutions through the lifecycle of being developed through to fully launched and achieving business outcomes – leading clarity with customer value propositions, prioritized verticals, buyer and influencer personas, and adjacent solution sets
- Interlock with Marketing for Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand Marketing & Acquisition and Base Management teams to provide a single voice on of our Product teams
- Responsible for synthesizing content for marketing, sales education and training so we are set up for success. Through proactively creating and sharing of roadmaps and planning for future launches with early engagement and briefings on new solutions and enhancements
- Incorporating feedback from customers, channel & product performance into product & commercialization evolution
- Responsible for creating commercial readiness plans and completing launch retrospectives to learn from and iterate on our approach
- Leverage long-term segment planning and insights to drive near-term product prioritization for commercialization and programmatic roll-outs that are well thought out and market-tested
- Work with Marketing to build strategies on product positioning to drive RGU loading and achieve EBITDA and GM targets
- Develop product and solution briefings for Marketing to drive interlock across the organization for go-to-market launches and channel support with messaging and collateral
- Measure and evaluate effectiveness of value proposition for Marketing and Sales using competitive market knowledge acquired through the sales process
Qualifications
Your skills and competencies:
- Strong management leadership skills – ability to build high-performance teams that exceed performance initiatives
- A natural influencer and collaborator – develop cross-functional relationships with stakeholders and secure the support of the executive team to build converged business strategies
- Strong understanding of customer problems and product value propositions with ability to translate complex solutions into simple and effective language for marketing efforts
- Proven leadership in business strategy, product management and marketing frameworks
- Experience in wireless & fixed broadband, telecom, IT services and platforms
- 7+ years business background in a technology industry with relevant experience in a product management or business development role
- Passion for learning and innovation; solutions-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Financial acumen and experience integrating cost-benefit analysis into business decisions to ensure maximum value prioritization MBIOT22
