JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the oversight of all project management, data governance, financial, inventory control, and budgetary activities for the Technology Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assigns resources and directs the workflow among assigned staff members on all technology projects to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
Responsible for the establishment, oversight, modeling, and evolution of project management standards within the Technology Division.
Creates and oversees the division’s budget.
Responsible for division budget-to-actual accounting.
Manages division contract and vendor management.
Oversees technology asset inventory accountability and controls.
Responsible for the oversight of all technology hardware and software standards and acquisitions.
Leads all Data Governance Committee, Technology Steering Committee, and related activities.
Develops and tracks division key performance indicators, tools, systems and practices to meet evolving customer requirements and improve overall performance.
Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, accounting or a related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university required.
Master’s Degree in information systems, accounting or a related field of education from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Three (3) years demonstrated project management experience, preferably in a public school environment and required;
Three (3) years experience developing department budgets and fiscal reporting and required;
Seven (7) years experience supervising highly skilled technology specialists and technical personnel required;
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities deemed sufficient to prepare the applicant to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Hold or be eligible for Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification issued by Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.
Hold or be eligible for Driver’s License (DL) Class C Non-Commercial issued by Maryland or State of Legal Residence (MVA/DMV) required; and
Proof of a good driving record required.
