Why This Role Is Important:
The Marketing Manager, PC Telecom will take a key role in planning, optimizing, and implementing promotional retail campaigns for The Mobile Shop and PC mobile. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, PC Telecom Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, curious and analytical marketing professional to build skills and experience in end-to-end planning and execution of strategic, multi-channel campaigns that combine digital, enterprise and in-store marketing tactics to drive sales and deliver an excellent customer experience. In this role, you will provide key support in the planning and execution of key acquisition programs, drive improvement through test & learn, lead program/project delivery, performance reporting and working closely with cross-functional teams and external agency partners to make it all happen. You’ll join a fast-paced team on a growing retail business. We have developed a strong structure to approach our in-market activity, and identifying new opportunities to innovate is encouraged!
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead campaign planning, execution and reporting for a full retail calendar of multi-channel campaigns
  • Lead campaigns and projects from end-to-end, working with external agency partners, internal counterparts, translation, legal and finance to ensure we consistently deliver optimized performance
  • Work with strategic partners to seek perpetual improvements and action on new areas of opportunities. We build new platforms and programs when the data supports it!
  • Consider and execute campaigns around the customer journey to constantly be improving the experience
  • Collaborate with the entire team on inventive processes to align all programs under one brand and customer experience
  • Write clear partner briefs that guide the teams to deliver high performing creative, media, digital, etc. programs and projects
  • Participate in brainstorming/planning sessions for to address new and existing business needs
  • Own the monthly finances associated with your projects and programs
What You Bring:
  • 5 years of experience in marketing with hands-on experience leading and completing multi-channel digital-first campaigns
  • University degree with a specialization in Marketing, Business, Commerce or equivalent field is ideal
  • Digital Acquisition Experience on the corporate or agency side, specifically with paid media platforms like Google and Facebook.
  • Demonstrated experience in bridging data, content, and channel plans to deliver performance-driven campaigns
  • Highly meticulous and organized with excellent time management skills, capable of handling and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Experience developing & implementing customer centric strategy & tactics
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing programs
  • Brick & Mortar marketing or Telecom marketing experience is preferred
  • Direct report management experience
  • The ideal candidate will understand how to be effective in the hustle of retail marketing while being able to integrate telecom targeting principles
  • Driven to deliver constant improvements and suggest new insights to drive customer acquisition
  • Analytical nature to understand “the why”; Ability to find opportunities and suggest solutions for problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Retail or telecom marketing experience is an asset
  • A strong understanding of CASL requirements is considered an asset
