Description: Our Client in Ottawa Ontario is looking for an experienced Principal Photonics Engineer to lead and advise on significant and unique projects in the telecommunications industry, working with cross functional teams across various continents and projects.
The Principle Engineer takes lead and advises engineering teams on unique challenges and projects. You will oversee entire product development, from process through to production. You will be expected to demonstrate acute knowledge and expertise. You are a leader, and have a proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement.
Our Client has a unique and novel package of Photonic technologies. Your job will be to oversee the clients photonic portfolio from the perspective of design, production, and customer acquisition and retention across multiple geographic boundaries. You are eager to take the lead on design modifications and improvements, and improve engineering amongst your team.
Skills:
Dense knowledge of Photonics as it Pertains to Telecoms
Knowledge of Mechanics, as it pertains to Lasers
System level Design Understanding
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Plus 8 Years of Relevant Experience
Masters Plus 4 Years of Relevant Experience
PhD Plus 2 Years of Relevant Experience
