The Department of Media and Journalism at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for a temporary pool in the area of telecommunications. Applicants should have the ability to teach courses in Video Production, Digital Video Editing, Broadcast Journalism, Advanced Video Editing, Cinema Appreciation, Media and Journalism Seminar, and/or other related telecommunications courses.

Information and technological literacy and Master’s degree in appropriate field are required. Ph.D. in appropriate field, college-level teaching experience, related professional experience and demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred.

Finalists must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process. Recommendation for hiring will be based on a majority vote of the regular, full-time faculty. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
