The Opportunity

Our IOT & Engineering Team specializes in delivering the most complex projects which require cross-functional technical skillsets in challenging and dynamic project environments. CP’s area of focus is Product Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things and Consumer Internet of Things. The team has presence across industries, with extensive traction in Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom Energy and Utilities, Retail, Automotive and Consumer Goods. Clients count on our Manufacturing and IOT expertise to help them architect the bridge between the physical world of sensors, machines, industrial processes, places, people and the digital world of software, IoT platforms and data. You Will

For our Industrial Manufacturing customers in Europe, we require qualified Mendix Developers to be a part of the engineering teams.

• Work in Agile projects to build solutions in Mendix
• Map user requirements into software specifications for implementation within the Mendix platform
• Collaborate with other technology and business teams within the organization to provide efficient robust solutions to the problems
• Work with Project stake holders to implement application requirements
• Collaborate with other development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions
• Support deployments or troubleshot production issues
• Work within a team environment to build solutions on the Mendix platform
• Mentoring junior developers
• Preparing technical artifacts (i.e. Application Architecture, Database Schema etc..)
• Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects
• Develop strong functional knowledge and business stakeholder relation ship with every project

Must-haves

Required & nice-to-have Skills

• 6+ years of experience in building software solutions using Mendix platform
• Overall 10+ years’ experience in IT solution Design & Development with Computer Science Degree or equivalent
• Experience in Enterprise System Architecture solution design involving interfaces, integration and custom connectors (REST, OData, SOAP etc)
• Strong technical knowledge on Mendix Development including SaaS, DB Schema Design, User Interface Development for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile devices
• Experience in deploying of Mendix application into private cloud
• Programming Knowledge of Cloud native development including HTML, CSS, Java, XML, SOAP and SQL
• Experience in Error handling management, Administration of application, implementation of UX & Mobile Apps
• Implementing custom widgets experience
• Experience in integration with third party apps like SAP, Sales Force etc
• Strong customer interfacing and conflict resolution skillserall 10+ yrs. experience in IT Industry

Nice-to-have / Your Chance To Grow

• Fluent in German
• Exposure and Understanding of IoT, AI/ML and Digital Thread/Twin concepts
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD enablement
• Experience in Mendix Unit Testing
• Prefer to have OData experience
• Knowledge in publishing data to app store
• Experience in Leading a Team
• Able to guide the Product Owner to MVP & able to work closely together with Program Manager
