Job Description

Mariner Innovations is seeking to hire multiple Mobile Application Developers skilled in Android and/or iOS Development. In this role, you will be working with one of our large Telecommunications clients as a key member of our IT Professional Services team.

Responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining functionality for mobile applications.

Investigating how new requirements and features fit into the mobile product.

Working effectively with other development team members on all aspects of the process, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Developing business knowledge and customer relationships where appropriate.

Meeting project milestones in an iterative and incremental development process.

Communicating with engineering management and team leaders on task prioritization, scheduling, and coordination.

Qualifications

Post Secondary Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields.

5+ years experience in software development.

Experience working with mobile technologies such as Objective-C, Swift, Java & Kotlin.

Basic knowledge of core mobile principles (UI implementation, iOS and/or Android application development frameworks, REST APIs).

Experience using Git, Github, and Jira.

Disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment.

Team with a positive forward thinking mindset.

Past experience in a consulting role and/or experience within the Telecommunications industry would be considered an asset.
