Monitoring Centre Agent & Field Technician

Recovery Science Corporation operates Canada’s largest electronic monitoring program. To support expansion of our elite team of GPS monitoring staff, we are offering competitive wages and remote working arrangements.

Our monitoring centre is a 24/7 operation based in Ontario. We are seeking to hire full-time staff for the overnight shift midnight to 8:00 a.m. EST. Training, supervision and a company-owned computer will be provided. Ideal for applicants with a high degree of technical competence, common sense, problem-solving capabilities, and an interest in the criminal justice system

• Ability to interpret data and apply policies and procedures

• Proficient in computer software and computer based telecommunications applications

• Understanding of spatial concepts and can interpret details of Google maps

• Excellent communication skills in English – written and verbal; second languages an asset

• Ability to maintain self-composure when confronted on issues by demanding and/or urgent circumstances and use professional judgment.

• Proven multi-tasking skills and the ability to coordinate a variety of activities.

• Strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal calmly and respectfully with the people we monitor, police and corrections officers

• Ability to make accurate notes and document actions taken

• Enrolling new participants being monitored in the GPS monitoring software

• Taking appropriate and timely action in response to alerts

• Interacting professionally with individuals being monitored and law enforcement officers

• College or University education – enrolled or completed

• Remotely from home, anywhere in Canada

• Independent work with virtual team environment

• Criminal records check

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
