Job Title: Network Administrator
Department: Information Technology
Location: Remote (Los Angeles)
Description of Role: As the backbone of the flow of information in and out of the firm, the network administrator will play a crucial role in helping to maintain and evolve the firm’s IT Infrastructure.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Expertise in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with network security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, VPNs, and network access control services.
- Identify and remediate network bottlenecks and other issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect our networks and infrastructure.
- Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills.
- Maintain IT Infrastructure with System Administrator (Security, Storage, and VMware environment).
- Apply upgrades and security patches to all network devices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Evaluate and recommend new solutions, tools, methodologies ot enhance network efficiency, security, and productivity.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be proactive and responsive.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in network administration.
- Any certifications in industry relevant technologies would add a lot of credibility (Ex: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, PCNSA, PCNSE).
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols.
- Firewall, Switch and WAP Management (Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, etc.…).
- Experience with IDS and VPN Technologies.

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000 – $125,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
