Network Administrator

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support its flagship contract. The Network Administrator will join our Telecommunications team and be responsible for on-site support of network equipment and upgrades at Denver, CO. The Network Administrator will report to the Program Manager and provide weekly updates on project status/issues/risks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing hands-on support of network equipment including (but not limited to): switches, routers, servers, firewalls, circuits, controllers and other telecommunication devices/technologies by vendors such as Cisco, Aruba and Juniper
• Assist in setup/configuration of network devices as per agency’s security protocols and industry best practices
• Work with customers and other team members to analyze/troubleshoot/resolve issues with network equipment
• Prepare network documentation such as diagrams and SOPs as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience with network devices/technologies including (but not limited to): switches, routers, servers, firewalls, circuits, controllers and other telecommunication devices/technologies by vendors such as Cisco, Aruba and Juniper
• Experience/knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, ARP, IGMP
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple applications
• Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,911.00 – $92,511.00 per year
