Network Administrator

The Network Administrator / Windows Server Administrator will be a part of the corporate IT Team that is responsible for supporting network infrastructure company wide. This position will specifically support our remote office locations’ server and network infrastructure as well as providing backup support for infrastructure at our headquarters in Marietta, GA.

Windows Server Administration/Maintenance

• Break/Fix
• Monitoring and respons
• Patching – Maintaining Patching schedule
• Hardware lifecycle management
• Server/hardware replacement
• Maintain Warranties
• Documentation

SonicWall Firewall Administration/Maintenance

• Perform periodic firewall configuration reviews
• Maintain hardware firmware
• Hardware lifecycle management
• Server/hardware replacement
• Maintain warranties and security services
• Documentation

Network infrastructure administration/maintenance

• Switches
• WAN connectivity support
• Break/Fix
• Implementation and coordination
• Wireless
• Hardware lifecycle management
• Documentation

Tier 1 Corporate Active Directory support

Tier 1 server support

Tier 2 application server support (SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.)

Tier 2 desktop support

Tier 2 support for Corporate applications

Telecommunication Support o Break/Fix o Implementation and coordination

Office 365 Administration

Assist in network design and implementation of system improvements and upgrades

Assist with on-boarding new acquisitions into the environment

Perform other job-related tasks and projects as assigned by management

Other Responsibilities/Expectations

• Attend regular department or management meetings to discuss day-to-day workload, current and future projects.
• Seek out opportunities for professional skills advancement through classes, seminars, webinars, events, self-study, etc.
• Pursue IT certifications

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience supporting a Windows Server environment
• Hands on experience with installation and configuration of Windows Server hardware (Dell experience is a plus)
• Experience with installation and configuration of SonicWall UTM firewalls
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure Active Directory administration
• Experience with configuring other networking technologies such as switches, wireless access points and VPN appliances
• Windows Server certifications are a plus
• Occasional travel (around 2 nights per month) to branch office locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
