Network Analyst

The Network Management Section of CalPERS is seeking a highly qualified network professional to serve as a network administrator in the Network Administration Unit within this section. The Network Management Section also includes network and telecommunications engineers. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with data/voice networking components, as well as act as an escalation point for troubleshooting more complex network operations issues. The successful candidate will also act as a mentor to other members of the team.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate’s relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Proficient knowledge/experience with network switching, routing, firewalls, load balancing, VPN, port security, wireless, IPAM, and software defined technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,960.00 – $9,643.00 per month
