Position Summary: Mercury Broadband is looking for a skilled Network Analyst to join its rapidly growing company and provide exceptional and timely service. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of assembling and understanding network performance metrics in a technical environment, exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, and possess an understanding of developing and building key performance benchmarks in an IP network. Key Responsibilities:
- A member of the Network Operations team responsible for architecting and driving the analysis and presentation of all network and telecommunications performance, analytics, and examination of equipment deployed at our towers and POPs in an environment requiring 24x7x365 availability
- Background in building Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel Presentations and as needed management
- Experience in network monitoring and management, SLA management, and mapping technology solutions to Key Performance Metrics
- Coordinate with team to understand trends in data
- Build and design analytical data to measure service reliability and overall customer experience
- Provide deliverables on technical projects to meet deadlines
- Assist in development of new products for key performance aspect of network team by designing workflows and conducting testing in the lab before field implementation
- Provide charts trends and information on resolution to network related issues
- Customer Centric attitude with a focus on ensuring high network availability
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong Understanding of Microsoft Excel, including Formulas and data analysis
- Strong Understanding of PowerPoint and building presentations
- Experience interfaces with databases
- Experience Using Microsoft PowerBi
- Strong Understanding of Technical language and industry measurements for key performance metrics
- Experience with NMS platforms
- Experience with Cisco equipment and other routing and switching hardware
- Customer Centric attitude, self-motivated, and professional in appearance
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- Understanding of networking principals
- Understanding of common household operating systems and peripherals
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Networking or IT field, with telecommunications experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, other relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
