Manager for Network and Telecommunications

As the_ Telecommunication Manager_ you will be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of Voice, WAN, and systems. You will be a leader with skills in both Telecommunication/Call Center systems on a virtual platform (VMWare preferred), as well as network routing, and SDWAN technology. We have Call Centers (3), Headquarters, Data Center, and several branch offices.

AsTelecommunications Manager, you will develop, plan, implement, maintain, and document procedures for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications related systems and equipment. You will oversee research, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies. You will be responsible for assessing organizational data and voice needs, then proposing the appropriate technologies and services to enable the enterprise to meet tactical and strategic objectives.

As the Telecommunications Manager, you will manage a team and the overall infrastructure operations to ensure a stable and efficient WAN network and telecommunications infrastructure. You will ensure that project and department milestones and goals are met and adhered to approved budgets. You will gain extensive knowledge of department processes.

Additional Roles and Responsibilities:

· Familiarity with network topologies & equipment, circuit delivery and handoff, VOIP, SIP, SDWAN, LTE/5G/mobile as it relates to WAN, and network cabling

· Communicate effectively across the organization

· Work closely with the LAN/Infrastructure and Security teams

· Manage thousands of advertised numbers

· Work with number porting through telecommunication carriers

· Proactively identify issues that could lead to network and telephone system disruption and then correct and plan appropriate solutions

· Experience with Mitel technology a plus

· Familiar operating highly available, redundant telephone/network systems

· Telecommunication Vendor/Partner Management

· Telecommunication Expense Management/Tracking

· Responsible for new branch office setup and relocations from a voice/data infrastructure setup perspective

Qualifications:

· 5 + years’ experience in related area as an individual contributor

· 3 + years’ experience in a supervisory role is a bonus

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· CCNA is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
