Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is currently seeking a Network Engineer to support IT Telecommunications and Network Department. They will be supporting different projects from data center build out to IDF and MDF builds, ETC.

Role: Networking Installation Engineer

Qualifications:

• High level of analytical and problem-solving capability
• Working knowledge of the OSI model preferred
• A Four Year College Degree, preferably in a related technical discipline
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Self-motivated, able to follow instructions, and work with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of data processing systems, concepts, and methodologies a plus

Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, evaluate, and implement emerging network technologies
• Support senior Engineers with projects
• Install and maintain switches, and routers devices
• Uncover and troubleshoot issues
• Provide documentation for project deliverables
