Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time, W2 (must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder)
Location: On-Site in Oklahoma City. *Open to Remote within the US – if you are out of state, you’ll need to come in once a month/quarter. Expenses will be paid for any travel*

Job Summary:
Responsible for engineering, certification, and operation of Optical, Ethernet, and IP products and services. Requires strong understanding of Layer 1, 2, and 3 principles with practical application across multiple HW/SW vendors.. Requires excellent internal communications skills with occasional customer interaction. Provides tier 2 & 3 support for the NOC including 24×7 on-call rotation which is minimal.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and perform test plans to certify various products and services
– Publish MOPs/EDPs for delivering new service, maintenance, and upgrades
– Assist with capacity planning
– Configure and troubleshoot carrier Ethernet, optical transport, IP/MPLS, and SD-Wan
– Deliver technical expertise and support to various internal departments

Years of Experience & Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements:
– CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE, JNCIE, or related certifications and/or experience preferred
– 5+ years engineering service provider networks (Ethernet, Optical, and/or IP/MPLS/SD-Wan)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
