Network Engineer User Experience and QoE | Ingénieur réseau en expérience utilisateur et QoE Responsibilities:
Design, build and validate end-to-end network designs to integrate advanced connectivity solutions into operator networks that will enable the deployment of Metaverse ready networks and applications. | Concevoir, créer et valider des conceptions de réseau de bout en bout pour intégrer des solutions de connectivité avancées dans les réseaux des opérateurs qui permettront le déploiement de réseaux et d’applications prêts pour Metaverse.
Development of QoE/QoS modeling frameworks, tools and engineering guidelines to integrate & operationalize immersive AR/VR, gaming and VoIP/video/data applications across Metaverse ready networks. | Développement de cadres de modélisation QoE/QoS, d’outils et de directives d’ingénierie pour intégrer et mettre en œuvre des applications immersives de type RA/RV, jeux et voix sur IP/vidéo/données sur des réseaux adaptés à Metaverse.
Work with analytics and data science teams to develop end-user experience metrics, monitoring systems and service assurance for Metaverse applications. | Travailler avec les équipes d’analytique et de science des données pour développer des mesures de l’expérience de l’utilisateur final, des systèmes de surveillance et une assurance de service pour les applications Metaverse.
Work with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, review and optimize Wi-Fi, cellular, fixed and transport networks. | Travailler avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour planifier, exécuter, examiner et optimiser les réseaux Wi-Fi, cellulaires, fixes et de transport.

Minimum Qualifications:
12+ years of experience developing and executing complex strategies, solutions, and deployments in the telecom industry.
Understanding of end-to-end Wi-Fi, cellular and packet transport network architectures.
Understanding of end-to-end system & network related parameters, user interface parameters, network traffic management, control/user media paths, impairments and human factors that impact quality of experience.
Experience in the design, planning, simulation, deployment and operations of high performance multimedia networks, VoIP/video/data applications.
Experience developing modeling frameworks, tools and engineering guidelines to operationalize QoE/QoS enabled networks.
Hands-on experience in the design & deployment of applications and networks with telco operators, mobile operators and internet service providers.
Understanding and contributions to various international standard bodies pertaining to quality of service & experience.
Understanding of the multimedia stack, including encoding/decoding, packet processing/switching, queuing/scheduling, media synchronization, mobility management.
Problem solving skills, experience coordinating with different local and global teams.
Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS, NAT and experience with IPv4/IPv6 networks.
Direct experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders simultaneously, including operators, OEMs, suppliers, regulators, standards organizations.
Problem solving and analytical expertise, situational decision making.
Communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of network protocols such as WebRTC, RTP/RTCP, VoIP, SRTP, TURN.
Understanding of video streaming techniques and algorithms such as Progressive streaming, Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH), Adaptive Bit Rate selection, Bandwidth estimation.
Experience developing and dimensioning of large-scale voice/video/data over IP applications, including aspects such as encoding/decoding/transcoding, buffer dimensioning, delay analysis, overhead, etc.
Understanding of multimedia immersive applications, AR/VR, VoIP/video/data, end-user expectations, quality measurements & metrics.
Understanding of disaggregated network architectures, edge computing platforms, traffic offloading and content delivery.
Understanding of traffic management disciplines & QoS networks architectures such as Diffserv, L4S, TSN, policing/shaping, AQM, HQoS, etc.
Understanding of the test & measurement industry, developing test procedures and plans, establishing metrics & quality criteria of devices and wireless/wired networks to support AR/VR, VoIP/video/data applications.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure principles, could platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes.
