Network Engineers

This position requires an active Top-Secret Clearance & a minimum of 6 years of related experience. Must be in the Washington DC area.

What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

What will I be doing? Using your experience and expertise, you will provide overall network engineering. In addition, you will:

• Configure web services; monitor status and make updates as needed.
• Design and build the information technology framework or environment.
• Guide information technology technical projects
• Identify, manage, measure, and maximize reuse, and manage changes to the IT architecture.
• Keep IT architecture up to date by reviewing and introducing changes based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical solutions to support project requirements.
• Design and integrate various functions of network and telecommunications equipment into functional systems.
• Document equipment layout about power, cooling, security, and functionality
• Understand and integrate serial and IP encryptions into networks and systems, as necessary.
• Understand emerging telecommunications trends and technologies and implement new technologies as appropriate.
• Integrate appropriate installation hardware such as equipment racks and necessary cabling.
• Other duties as assigned.

What experience, training, and education do I need?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

• Professional experience as a Network Engineer
• Training in Linux+, NET+, Firewall configuration, Red Hat
• Familiarity with the following software: Juniper, PFSense, OpenNebula, Elastic Kibana, Zentayl, FreeIPA
• IAT II certification
