ABOUT THE TEAM:WhiteSky Communications, A RealPage company, is an innovative managed services and telecommunications company that was established in 2005. Whitesky partners with student housing, luxury apartments, hotels, adult living, and assisted living/hospitals to provide bulk Internet, Cable, and Voice services. WhiteSky’s solutions are in high demand, and the company is growing at a rate of over 30% per year.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:As a Experienced Network Install Technician III you will deploy, install & internet and cable services at WhiteSky properties across the country. You will also be resposonbile for diagnostic and troublshooting when nessessary. #LI-BW1
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experienced technicians only: 3+ years’ experience required
• Cable/Internet Tech-Fiber Optic Background a must
• Cable technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television and Internet services in MDU properties and businesses.
• Technicians must have experience with fiber installations, fiber splicing, CATV, CAT 5/6, coax, and/or wiring.
• Technicians should be able to demonstrate knowledge of various electronic components (e.g., modems, routers, TVs, stereo systems and home entertainment systems) and have knowledge of computer operating systems.
• Must have top notch customer service skills, candidates will be entering private dwellings & managed properties
• Must be able to operate independently, train and oversee installations
• Excellent organization and communication.
• Be able to complete tasks on-time as defined by project schedule.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Current valid State Driver’s License and non-negligent driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be readily available.
• Must be willing to work on some weekend/overtime.
• A background check will be completed on all applicants considered for this position.
• Extensive out of state travel is required.
• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working in closets, rooftops, and construction

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Fiber Optic or Telecom background preferable
