Network Intern

We currently have an opening for an IT Network Intern at Android – Auburn Hills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to prepare for Plant launches
• Assist with current Cisco network and security projects
• Assist Network team with work as assigned, including:
• Work collaboratively with Senior Engineer and administrators
• Monitor network operation activities on-site and from remote facility locations
• analyzing network and security reports and alerts.
• Review security firmware requirements for all Cisco network equipment
• Document all network related activities in the RFS ticketing system
• Customer Service requirement treat all employees with respect no matter the situation (50%)
• Demonstrates excellent customer service in all interactions with colleagues.
• Assist with work documentation as repair list tasks are completed.
• Assist with other IT issues as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Basic knowledge of I.T. Networking and Security
• Good communication skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Be available to work at least 20 to 30 hours per week. Will work around school schedule.
• Be respectful of others and on time ready to work.
• Complete all tasks in an efficient manner.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
