We are looking for a Network Monitoring Specialist to work in Burlington, Canada.

Working in a hybrid environment, you will bridge network surveillance and traffic analysis, looking out for indicators of compromise to the following: BCN/WAN/Telecom, Infrastructure/Apps, Cybersecurity systems.


Tasks and Activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Analyze indicators of compromise or network traffic.
  • Analyze data.
  • Respond to computer security incidents and perform threat analyses.
  • Review and rate the risk of vulnerabilities, as they apply to systems and infrastructure.
  • Perform detailed technical analyses.
  • Work in developing cyber security defensive techniques and best practices.
  • Provide support for systems within the area of expertise.

Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field (computer sciences, information technology, engineering, etc.) or a combination of experience and other education or professional development.
  • More than 5 years’ progressive experience in IT, growing into a senior role.
  • At least 6 months of experience working as a Network Architect or Senior System Architect.
  • Experience working as a system administrator or network architect in a complex. environment incorporating physical security systems (CCTV, Access control, etc.) as well as industrial control systems.
  • Experience related to project management (ex. project administration, project coordination, etc.).
