Network Night Technician

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Utilize CoP Run Books to perform authorized tasks and problem resolution activities.
• NOC Support includes:

o Identify and perform initial triage of alerts for monitored devices.

o Escalate ISP or circuit related issues to the vendor directly, then to ITS resources.

o Escalate Cisco related issues directly to ITS resources.

o Add/delete devices from monitoring system.

• Provide MACD support for Voice tickets while not actively performing NOC tasks as well as

during periods of high-ticket volumes.

• Monitor SolarWinds instance and perform maintenance as appropriately directed.

Duration: Full Time Consultant (Project is contingent on project duration with external client)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Network Night Technician is Under direction from the ITS DCIO or designee,

this resource would have two primary responsibilities:

• First is to provide NOC support for network and

telecommunications infrastructure;

• Second is provide supplemental support to the team as a MACD
  • Voice Technician.
