Network Repair Technician

ResourceMFG has partnered with Sage Sustainable Electronics to hire several Network Repair Technicians for their facility on the West side of Columbus!

Job Title: Network Repair Technician

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.50

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday-Friday
• 2nd Shift 3:00pm – 11:30pm Monday-Friday

Job Description: The Network Repair Technician performs the asset processing, detailed evaluation, upgrade and critical data security functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates electronic assets and determines value based on physical and operational condition
• Performs data security on electronic assets.
• Configures, upgrades and tests computer hardware and peripherals.
• Inspects, classifies, diagnoses, evaluates, disassembles and repairs computer hardware.
• Evaluates & identifies hardware for specific disposition (resell, repair, harvest, recycle, etc.)
• Upgrades products through the addition of new hardware
• Enters detailed asset information into the ERP system that is not auto-populated by the data security software.
• Installs operating system (OS) to computer products per procedure
• Familiar with software like Putty, TeraTerm, TFTPd and how to configure and use them to access network devices.
