Network / Security Analyst

Robert Half is recruiting now for an experienced Network Administrator with strong knowledge in network and cloud security. To be successful in this role, you are an organized individual with a can-do attitude and an excellent customer service, technical, and organizational skills and who is ardent about maintaining a stable network infrastructure and network cloud security. This role is located in Calgary, AB., but it open to hybrid remote (work from office/work from home) work permissions for eligible candidates.

MUST HAVES:
5 + years’ experience in a similar role with proficient knowledge in network and network cloud services (Azure/AWS)

Proficient understanding and experience with security fundamentals and best practices

In-depth Security Monitoring experience

Strong working knowledge of VMWARE, Windows, Active Directory and/or UNIX/Linux/Solaris

Excellent experience with solid technical knowledge in Telecom Networks: MPLS, spanning tree, routers, layer 2/3 switches, WIFI, VoIP, firewalls and UTM

Working ability with configuration automation using scripting languages

CISM, CISSP Required

Current Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP; Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, Fortinet NSE and/or other networking certification

Exposure and interest in compliance and audit processes

Excellent organizational skills while being detail detail-oriented and thorough in all work projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

An enquiring mind with the ability to think creatively and search for answers
