What you’ll do:

  • Perform the Customer facing role for security operational teams having knowledge & experience on security product and support on IT Security based services to a specified group of external global/corporate customers
  • Triage, Review, and implement standard security specific changes in line with Customer security policies and change control processes
  • Own complex customer issues and see them through to resolution
  • Take the initiative and advise our customers on how automation can enhance the stability and security of their solution
  • Establish and mature governance processes, embedding quality and consistency across the team, ensuring events and incidents are logged and resolved in a timely manner, maximizing availability and right first time (RFT)
  • Coach and develop team to promote upskilling and career development
  • Promote and establish high levels of incident ownership
  • Use data literacy to ensure effective MI, service reporting and diagnostics
  • Hold accountabilities for all operational and technical support within Security service operations
  • Perform routine assignments using established procedures
  • Knowledge of device health monitoring tools and systems
  • Adhere to change and incident management process
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development Consultants to build strong customer relationships
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with other Engineers and Administrators on the support floor
  • Work in fast-paced, constantly evolving team using DevOps methodologies
  • Provide technical direction so that we can build and deliver world class secure platforms for our customers
  • Work directly with our customers as part of the engineering delivery life cycle
  • Configure, plan, install, maintain, and optimize network systems, equipment, and applications ensuring network protocols and security policies are used effectively
  • Troubleshoot, and take escalations for Firewalls & Load Balancers, Windows/Linux system administration, or Cloud Native Tooling
  • Create documentation including HLD and LLD to support the delivery of our solutions
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Train and mentor direct reports

You might even:

  • Have experience of multiple security vendors and/or hold relevant certifications
  • Have knowledge of devices that operate at multiple levels of the OSI stack
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience.
  • Have good knowledge of routing protocols, security concepts and public cloud platforms
  • Be knowledgeable in the application of current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols
  • Embody the role of trusted advisor
