Role Description:
The Cell Leader is accountable for the performance of all wire line networks of a specific geographical area made up of exchanges / municipal boundaries (Cell). Leading a dedicated cross-functional team the Cell Leader will initiate, plan and execute projects to achieve expeditious customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Delivery [overall accountability to deliver all projects within the Cell – that are customer, municipal and hydro driven]

Ensure Cell Network Performance – end to end delivery of a customer request from inception to SAP Closure while adhering to our District’s quality metrics and standards

Team Building [promote collaboration, participation and address conflict]

Manage direct reporting of Cell resources

Ensure proper resource capacity forecasting for all functional groups has been completed and monitored

Identify and analyze risks and develop contingency measures within the Cell

Facilitate daily scrums to address customer priorities and requirements via Visual Management

Weekly, monthly, quarterly Cell status reporting

Process, Analysis, and Improvement [foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Cell and drive cycle time reductions]

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Critical Qualifications / Competencies:
Minimum 1 year working experience within Access Network

Proven project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills

Strong sense of urgency and willingness to take the initiative with a talent for motivating others and promoting team spirit

Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others and build rapport inside and outside the organization

Well-honed business analysis and process development skills with a demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Good oral and written communication/presentation skills, including the ability to produce reports for varying audiences

Critical thinking skills with a demonstrated judgement to know relevant questions to ask and assemble the right individuals to provide responsive solutions

Resourceful and willingness to take risk

Leadership experience (formal or informal capacity)

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office software: Word, Excel; Beginner SAP

Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in Business Management, Communications or related field

Knowledge and working experience of 5+ years within Access Network (telecom)

Minimum 3 years experience in project management

Minimum 3 years work experience in people leadership role
