Network Supervisor – Medina, OH
Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is one of the largest independent Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC distributors in America. We are looking for a Network Supervisor to add to our growing team at our Corporate location in Medina, OH. Directly responsible for network administration and IT related daily activities and maintenance. Incumbent will assist IT Director planning, development and implementation of IT systems, practices and protocol. Supports with leading day-to-day activities of IT infrastructure staff.
Work Week & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., No weekends
Pay: $70K+ (Salary based on Experience) plus quarterly bonuses: accuracy, safety & performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related studies a plus. Microsoft certification a plus.
- Prior 5-7 years of network management experience using Microsoft server/Active directory technologies.
- Working knowledge of Windows products including Microsoft Server products (Office 365, SQL, Exchange, Terminal Services, Sharepoint Services).
- Working knowledge of Network security tools.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Hands on training skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (a team player).
- Excellent organization skills.
Job Duties:
- Maintains day-to-day operations and troubleshooting of the existing network and IT systems.
- Assumes System Administration role for Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Windows Server, SQL, Active Directory).
- Assumes System Administrative role for SDWAN/remote connectivity technologies (Fortinet).
- Assumes System Administration role for corporate telecom systems (Mitel).
- Assumes System Administration role for Corporate Logistics/Distribution System (Epicor P21).
- Develop training materials and procedures, and train users in the proper use of hardware, software, and systems.
- Assists with the evaluation and development of IT systems to improve operational productivity.
- Provides front line system on-call support.
- Travels to remote locations as needed for support and implementation.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement compliant network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Monitor and log network performance to determine where adjustments need to be made and determine where changes will be made in the future.
- Coordinate with vendors and IT Management to facilitate purchases.
- Other duties as assigned.
