Network Support Engineer SDWAN

Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in the operations of a company’s internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs

Critical Skills

• 6+ yrs experience deploying Cisco IOS-based networking devices within a 24×7 environment. Experience to include routing, switching, wireless (802.11x), & WAN optimization
• 6+ yrs experience with LAN switching environments including Spanning Tree, 802.1q, Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), etc.
• 4+ yrs experience with Ethernet and fiber optic connectivity
• 4+ yrs experience deploying wireless networks in an Enterprise or Warehouse environment
• Demonstrated experience working with internal and external customers as a service provider
• Diverse IOS experience in the design, implementation and troubleshooting on a wide range of data center level equipment to include – but not limited to Routers, Cisco Access Switches, Wireless, SDWAN, & Netscout

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient project management skills displayed through successful implementations, completing assignments, meeting timelines, and keeping within budget
• Experience with edge router WAN circuit (Ethernet, T3, Multilink,T1) provisioning, configuration and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated experience with Telecom managed MPLS deployments. Preference for multi provider deployment experience
• Proficient with all common routing protocols used in a network environment to include (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Configuring and troubleshooting QOS for both WAN and LAN networks
• Demonstrated experience with debugtrace option commands and their impact on the production environment
• Strong familiarity with SNMP, Netflow, Syslog and packet captures
• Knowledge of UNIX, Windows networking technologies and deployment methodologies preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour

Experience:
