Network Technician

CNETGEEK LLC is looking to hire a full time Network technician with extensive experience in running and terminating Ethernet cables in commercial installation of Network Switch, Gateway and Phone system.

Responsibilities:

Knowing and learning how to terminate each of these mediums properly, connect varying devices, such as Network Manage Switch, Gateway and Phone System. Also work patch panels, network racks etc. This position involves hands on work replacing and/or installing various cable or hardware.
Install, terminate, test, label and document category 5e&6 cabling system.
Setup and install business hardware.
Strong focus on exceptional quality, dependability, and superior customer service.
Clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
Maintain a safety conscious work environment.
Perform other duties as required.
Technicians work varying hours. Flexibility in scheduling is important. Training will be given by CNETGEEK.

Our core workload will be in Raleigh, Durham, and surrounding areas. This position will be on location in hotel and gas station businesses, most of the times. Some out of town traveling is required. Good driving record. Drug-free work place.

Required Work Experience:

Low voltage installing and cabling, minimum 1 year.
Pulling and terminating cable: surveillance Coax, CAT 5e/6.
Good communication skills including written and verbal.
Surveillance equipment installation is a plus.

Requirements:

Ability to carry heavy loads as needed.
Carry and climb ladders as needed.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Background checks required.
United states work authorization required.

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)
