Netzwerk Administrator (M/W/D)

For our client, a global acting firm specialized in high-quality printing, notably currency and securities printing, we are looking for a Netzwerk Administrator (m/w/d) – in Munich.

Your tasks:

• Analyze all aspects of the existing platform and provide recommendations to enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability (in accordance to GSMA standards)
• Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code
• Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and integrate them into the existing systems
• Participate in our on-call rotations and be available for escalations

Your profile:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical/engineering field (e.g. Fachinformatiker or Systemintegration)
• Experienced in cloud (Iaas/Paas) and/or on premise datacenter
• Experience with VXLAN, managing firewalls like Checkpoint and F5 load balancers
• Excellent knowledge in Cisco products (DCNM, Nexus and NX-OS)
• Excellent understanding of complex network and platform setups (geo redundancy)
• Good understanding Linux skills, preferred RHEL and RH Satellite
• Good understanding of compliance and information security requirements in service operations
• Good knowledge in Ansible and Nagios/Icinga (Terraform and Jenkins would be a plus)
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and ownership
• Proficient in English both written and verbal (German would be a plus)

Advantageous:

• Telecommunications and/or Payment industry experience
• Experience of working across different cultures
• ITIL v3 foundation certification
