Night Shift Network Engineer

Must-haves:

-5+ years of Network Engineering experience with a strong focus on supporting Cisco routers and switches, preferably 9K or 7K

-Must be willing to work night shift starting Mon night 10pm-8am (10 hour shifts 4 days a week)

-Experience building and deploying onto a network based off of a design document

-Minimum of CCNA cert
-Great knowledge of BCP, OSPF, VXLAN

-Layer 1-3 hands-on experience

-Solid understanding of Networking specific technologies: IPV6, L2VPN, L3VPN, OSPFv3, MPBGP, MPLS (LDP & TDP) and VRFs

Plusses:
-Cisco CCNP or CCIE certifications

-Any Nokia hardware experience
-Bachelor Degree is strongly preferred

Day-to-Day:

Our client is looking to hire a night shift Network Engineer. This position will support the Network Engineering team and the candidate will be doing configurations on Cisco 9Ks and possibly some Nokia 7K switches. Candidate must be comfortable configuring routers and switches and will be using protocols like BGP, OSPF and VXLAN on a daily basis. They will be handed a design document from another team and need to build off of that document. Telecom experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $62.00 per hour
