NOC Analyst

IDR is seeking a NOC Analyst to join one of our clients in the Brentwood, TN area for a 6* month contract to hire opportunity. Position Overview for the NOC Analyst:

• Provide response and triage of incoming calls, alerts, and emails from our customers. You will be the ‘first line of defense’ for our client’s network environment.
• Monitor different queues, prioritize incidents/tickets, and handle them according to our defined handling procedures until resolution.
• Regularly engage with vendors and third parties, creating service tickets for customer incident resolution.
• Perform basic configurations of networking equipment by utilizing standardized templates/runbooks provided by the engineering team.
• Maintain all networking equipment for each client performing routine backups, firmware upgrades, replacements, and checks for any faults or vulnerabilities in coordination with our senior analyst’s discretion.

Required Skills for NOC Analyst:

• 1+ years of experience in a network support analyst position
• 1+ years of experience with supporting any of the following network platforms: Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, SilverPeak (Aruba)
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
