NOC Engineer

• Position: NOC Engineer

• Location: Lake Forest, CA-Onsite

Job Description:

Main Points:

-24/7 NOC

-Need to be on site

-5 person team of all different tier levels

-4X10 hour shifts…4 days on 3 days off

-1 quarter of the calendar year is night shift…next quarter is day shift…next night shift…

-Linux Environment, NEED 2 years of experience in that environment

-knowledge of Python or Bash

-Tier II support

-NEED to be able lift servers…they weigh around 50 lbs

-NEED Strong communication skills – there will be client interactions

NOC Engineer Responsibilities:

• Deploying and inspecting IT network systems.
• Overseeing the safe installation of hardware and cabling systems.
• Monitoring the performance and capacity of computer systems.
• Performing regular checks on network hardware and software.
• Responding to network alerts and hardware malfunctions.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting network errors.
• Tracking and documenting network issues and compiling incident reports.
• Responding to user requests and providing network training.
• Managing system backups and network security protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
