Network Engineer

Irving TX 75039 – (will be in office 3 days a week originally then once ramped up, in office periodically; a couple times a month)

3-year contract

48/hr on w2

Option 1: 4×10 schedule

• 1st shift 7am – 6pm
• 2nd shift 11am – 10pm
• 3rd shift 8pm – 7am

Option 2: 5×8 work schedule

• 1st shift 6/7 am – 3pm/4pm
• 2nd shift 11 am – 8pm
• This infrastructure will support our expanding fiber-based footprint for both in region and out of region expansion, using alarm and ticket systems, individual designed customized scripts, customer notification, following established business processes, and Business Partner escalations.
• Responsible for deploying new fiber-based network elements as well as configuring them.
• Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with HSIA network elements, and associated Operations Support Systems.

Notes

• Knowledge of basic OSI (first three levels)
• AT&T tool exp. a plus (dispatching and ticketing systems, ServiceNow a plus)
• CCNA a plus
• Dealing with network element and customer issues
• Fault management for suspected issues
• Change management
• Put AT&T networking exp. on top of resume if have any
• Filling quickly
• Looking for local candidates
• NOC or Field background
• Must be available for any shift – 2nd 3rd shifts typically more open

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39.33 – $48.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Computer networking: 7 years (Required)
• Cisco 1100: 1 year (Preferred)
• dispatching and ticketing systems: 1 year (Required)
• NOC or Field background: 1 year (Required)
• Nokia 7360 & 7330 & 7342: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CCNA (Preferred)

Shift availability:
