NOC Engineer I

We are seeking a Tier I NOC Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring and addressing system alerts and ensure effective follow through to completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent client support via telephone and e-mail including the return of both customer and internal calls, emails and inquiries with urgency.
• Maintain advanced administrative competencies of all NOC tools and products including, but not limited to backup, disaster recovery, AV, spam, patching solutions, DNS, SSL-Certs, DRaaS, FWaaS, onboarding and offboarding.
• Perform root cause analysis to completion and resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive notes in ConnectWise and update cases as needed until resolved.
• Continually identify and propose new ideas for improving department effectiveness.
• Perform automation and scripting.
• Ability to participate in 24/7 call rotation for servicing client needs after hours or weekends.

The candidate must possess a relevant combination of education, experience and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in automation/scripting language
