Overview:
Execute superior technical engagements both in the support dept. as well as on-site. Participate in migration and deployment of all technologies offered. Engage in deep technical levels within assigned opportunities. Ability to understand clients IT architecture, identify risks and translate feature and function set into customer solutions at all levels of the client organization level.
Responsibilities:
The NOC Helpdesk Technician, Level I is the centerpiece to all support throughout the MCC ecosystem. As part of a specific NOC team, NOC Helpdesk Technician, Level I must be ready to tackle any first-level technical issues, including basic troubleshooting on workstations, basic server administration with both physical and virtual infrastructures, and application support.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents which impact or threaten service availability
- Help in the engineering effort to improve monitoring coverage and depth
- Help maintain client infrastructure through updates, upgrades, changes, documentations, and other duties as may be required from time to time
- Enter, track, and document trouble items through ticketing, knowledgebases, and monitoring platform
- Work with internal and external teams to coordinate maintenance, identify and resolve problems, and ensure high infrastructure quality
- Provide continued support to ensure the best client experience possible
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents which impact or threaten service availability
- Document configurations and client environment changes
- Afterhours work as required from time to time
Qualifications:
- 1 year working at a PC shop is desired
