Equivalent Experience

  • This is great role for someone that Has some entry to mid level NOC experience and understands the network to start moving in the direction of an incident manager.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure flawless execution of the Critical Incident Management process:

      • Including running and managing incident restoration bridges
      • Drive transparent communication that promotes very high levels of internal/external customer satisfaction
    • Work directly with stakeholders and executives to drive resolution during critical incidents and improve overall response for future incidents
    • Closely partnering and collaborating with Infrastructure, Engineering, Operations, ETO Support, Business and Leadership
    • Ability to perform a flexible schedule, including majority weekend and overnight shifts.

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • BS in Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related technical area
    • 2+ years experience handling highly complex issues
    • Technical Background in either networking, application development/support or platform engineering/support
    • Operational and services experience in a cloud environment preferred
    • Ability to understand and explain interconnected application functionality in a complex environment
    • 1+ years managing, coordinating, and ensuring resolution on major incidents,
    • 1 + years communicating with high level leadership Leadership – Excellent communication skills: Both written and verbal Communications
    • 1+ years experience responding to and leading complex incident response in a 24/7/365 environment, providing mission-critical support to large enterprises
    • 1+ Years in providing support to large enterprises

  • Specific Skills:

    • Customer-centric attitude and focus on providing best-in-class service for customers and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with incident management frameworks – ITIL Foundation Certified preferred
    • Executes with a high level of operational urgency with an ability to maintain calm, and work closely with a team and stakeholders during a critical situation

Shift will be an overnight with a possible weekend shift.

1 year contract with extension
