A NOC (Network Operations Center) Technician monitors, maintains and troubleshoots the company’s network infrastructure. This includes tasks such as monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and escalating problems to higher-level technicians or engineers as needed. The NOC Technician is also responsible for managing and maintaining documentation, such as network diagrams, troubleshooting procedures, and inventory lists. In addition, they may be required to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the network infrastructure
  • Identifying and resolving network issues, escalating problems to team members as needed
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to network performance
  • Be available to participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in a NOC Tech or Network Management role
  • Advanced knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, protocols, and security
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
