JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is looking to add a Network Operation Center (NOC) Technician to their team in St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC. They will be responsible for monitoring the network and filtering alerts as they arise. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and hosting triage calls to remediate issues. They will manage high/ critical incidents and ensure tickets are fully documented and resolved properly, or escalated to the correct person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot networking issues
Ability to work 3rd shift (9:30 PM through 7:30am, Sunday through Wednesday)
Knowledge of applications, servers and how they work
Incident management/monitoring experience
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience working in a NOC environment
Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
Experience working with Netcool or Solar Winds for monitoring
CCNA Certification
CCNE Certification
A+ Certification
