NOC Technician (Nights/weekends)

Description:

A large healthcare company is currently seeking a Network Operations Center technician to support IT Telecommunications and Network. They will be supporting the 24×7 NOC group in the Data Center. Currently, the need is for 2 positions, working nights and weekends . The position(s) will be on-site at in downtown NYC on Wall Street West, or in Lyndhurst NJ. Candidate is expected to liaise with Business Stake holders as well as users and work hand in hand with the Sr. Network engineers to support and monitor the network.

BMC Truesight experience will be a huge plus, as this is the single pain of glass that receives all alerts. The “NOC role” will essentially monitor the alerts in Truesight and follow Instructions for notification and escalation. Their ticketing platform is ServiceNow, which would be another plus for candidates. As far as other “NOC” responsibilities, Truesight and ServiceNow and the two major skill requirements and all of the other dashboards will require minimum training. The candidate will be a part of a team, so the plan is to pair them up with experienced analysts.

2 shifts available:

1) Tuesday to Saturday – 9pm – 5am

2) Sunday to Thursday – 9pm – 5am

Shifts could change so need to be flexible.

Top Skills’ Details

1) The should have 1+ years experience in a NOC or helpdesk using truesight and service now.

2) 1- 3 yrs monitoring networks

3) 1-3+ years exp. supporting IT
